Dubai Hotels |
Dubai could be called the hotel capital of the world, not for the number of Hotels it has in the city I'm sure Las Vegas would beat it in that respect, but by the sheer demand for Hotel rooms in Dubai. In early 2007 the occupancy rates for Hotels was the same as usual at about 98%. This means that in reality it would neigh on impossible for anyone to find a Hotel room at short notice in Dubai.
This has meant that prices remain quite high due to demand, although you can find good prices if you shop around. The Dubai Hotel market has all the usual high class players as well as some lesser known brands. The likes of Hilton, Best Western and Marriott are all here but there is also an added mix of more local brands who are setting the standards high in Dubai Hotel class.
Jumeirah is such a brand with it's iconic self proclaimed 7 star Hotel , the Burj Al-Arab where prices can begin at a mere $1500 per night., to add to this they have the almost equally expensive Jumeirah Beach Hotel. If you want a Hotel to make an impact in Dubai it has to have one key feature and that’s an iconic building without that you really are struggling.
Some of the more iconic Hotels in Dubai are listed below:
- Dusit Dubai
- Jumeirah Beach Hotel
- Burj Al-Arab
- Shangri La
- Emirates Towers
- Fairmont Dubai
These are to name but a few.
If you are after luxury five star Hotels then Dubai is the place to be.
