A year ago or even more now the initial rumours about DIC buying Liverpool Football Club began to emerge. Seen with excitement in Dubai the rumours turned into a firm offer, all of us at TheDubaiLife.com were sure this would then into another success for DIC who have not been averse to foreign investment.
It was not meant to be and after some behind he scenes wrangling DIC pulled out and Liverpool were sold to George Gillett and Tom Hicks the men from the USA. Since then the George Gillett and Tom Hicks partnership has run into some deal of trouble they attribute to the "global credit crunch" and the rumours of a sale to DIC are back.
As the saga unfolds you can get our views here, we are Liverpool fans and think that DIC would be he best thing that happened to Liverpool FC for a very long time.
