RTA opens a new branch of Licensing Agency

Dubai (United Arab Emirates): Licensing Agency at Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) opened a new branch at Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) to provide licensing services to customers in the area, saving much of their their time & efforts.

“The subsidiary center was opened in November 2008 to offer key licensing services, and more services are planned to be added in future. Services currently provided include renewing driving licenses, issuing driving licenses in replacement of lost / damaged ones, replacing foreign driving licenses, and payment of traffic fines. Working hours in the new outlet start from 09.00 am up to 04.00 pm” said Ali Al-Jasim, Director of Driver Licensing Dep’t at RTA Licensing Agency.

“This new subsidiary at DIFC, which is situated beside Sheikh Zayed Road and opened since the beginning of November, aims to provide a host of RTA services in high demand in the area, as part of RTA efforts to deliver services to customers throughout the emirate of Dubai.

“Licensing Agency is keen to deliver all services to save time and effort of customers in line with the strategic and development plans of the Agency. Considering the value of services delivered to the public, the Agency is seeking to open external centers to serve customers in selected active locations, such as DIFC.

“Selecting this location was in recognition of the high profile of DIFC, and the growing customer demand for RTA services in this reputable locality.” concluded Al-Jasim.
