• Consultancy wins ‘Young Engineer of the Year’ award, the ‘Training Award’

Dubai, 4th December, 2008: The work of Hyder Consulting Middle East in the region’s property sector was recognised last night when it won the ‘Young Engineer of the Year’ award and ‘Training Award’ at the MEP Middle East Awards gala held at Mina Al Salam Hotel in Dubai.

The MEP Middle East Awards aim to celebrate innovations and achievements in the design and installation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems as well as best practices in health and safety standards. Hyder Consulting Middle East entered the roll of honours this year on account of its holistic internal training programmes that consistently help deliver world class services to the property development sector. The ‘Young Engineer of the Year’ award recognised Mechanical Design Engineer Barry O Reilly who is rapidly developing a reputation in the MEP field.

Stephen Clough, Director – Building and Infrastructure Technology (Middle East Region) Hyder Consulting collected the ‘Training Award’ while Barry O Reilly collected his ‘Young Engineer of the Year’ award at the gala, which was attended by prominent leaders in the region’s construction sector, including designers, consultants and other solutions providers.
