First it was Sex on the beach, now Dubai is being asked for “Sex and the City”, well not literally. Producers of the sequel to the “hit” movie “Sex and the City” (never watched it)  which charts four 40 something singletons spending their lives trying to “get it on”  have been told that they can’t film “Sex and the City2″ in Dubai as it has the word Sex in the title.  Which for a Muslim country is understandable , however I could have found about 100 other reasons as to why they should not bother making the sequel but hey I won’t bore you.

This latest episode although may seem trivial , highlights what happens when there is a perceived anything goes in Dubai attitude but the reality is that sometimes nothing goes. It is the main reason Dubai is a Schizo city , publicly they will arrest and imprison Groveridder for drugs but we know it all goes on , one the one hand it will promote Hollywood and all it brings but when it gets a little close to the knuckles the defences will go up.

Moral of the story is be yourslef from the start and not when it makes you feel uncomfortable being something or someone else.
