Dubai To Spend Spend SPEND

Dubai have decided that there is one answer to the impending gloom and that’s to spend it’s way out of it. Who’d have thunk it?

Nasser al-Shaikh, director general of the department of finance, said the government is planning to increase by around 20 per cent the budgeted public: “The role of government is to increase spending during challenging times and provide a stimulus to the economy”

That told the credit crunch then!
