Burj Hit By Lightning!

Here are some truly eye catching photos of the tallest tower in the world (most likely) being hit by lightning. As you can see from the images they are truly amazing. However, the thought did cross my mind, such is the height of the Burj that are we really that shocked that its turned into a lightning rod?
