And The Goal Posts Have Moved Again

Monday, 17 August 2009 No Comment

As my last post indicated I am currently in the situation of trying to sort out payment issues on an apartment I bought off plan a few years back.  After having some difficulty in paying I was informed to make the best effort I could and that everything would be OK , there was no talk of late fees or anything of that nature. In fact just 2 weeks ago I got an email saying just that.

Long behold today I have an invoice that says I now have to pay late fees and all sorts of other things totaling about 40,000 AED , such a shame that wasn’t mentioned when I emailed numerous times without any replying. No one had told me my only contact was off work for the foreseeable future, maybe it was a deliberate delaying tactic.

So the saga continues, again no need to mention names at this moment as I am hoping common sense will prevail.
